Born in 1973, Tetsu Mineta grew up listening to numerous records at home. He started playing guitar at 14 and started recording around 18 using a 4 track tape recorder that was given to him by his brother. He plays guitar, sings and writes songs and lyrics for the band Both Cheese who have toured Vietnam, the USA and Australia. They also played at the Fuji Rock Festival and are still going today.

His first solo acoustic gig was at Check Point Charlie in New Orleans in 2013. He has released Scene#1(Yogoh Records), Cassette Tape and ME (Union Pole), and Scene#3 (Union Pole).
