In the winter of 1989 a boy was born of dust and space. On the outskirts of the Joshua Tree, California, with a sprawling vista to call his home, the desert made man of the boy. Bare feet calloused by cactus spine, heart unveiled by stars divine, with valiant tongue and roving truth his fingers dance for cosmic youth.
